When the San Francisco 49ers came to New York to play the Jets in week four of the NFL regular season, few members of Gang Green had reason to be optimistic. The Jets had failed to live up to their week one demolition of the Buffalo Bills, following with dismal showings against Pittsburgh and Miami in weeks two and three respectively, and not many going to the MetLife Stadium on a Sunny Sunday morning in East Rutherford, New Jersey had high hopes for Sanchez and his men. I, however, did. I am naturally an optimistic person, but my optimism was boosted by the fact that this particular game was my first-ever Jets game. I was hoping that I would be a good omen for New York against the high-flying San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately, it was not to be as I was on hand to witness quite possibly the worst Jets performance I have ever seen, but despite the demolition job by San Fran, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
